New to the world of 'blogging', I am trying to overcome the fear of sharing thoughts which has been with me since my mother found my diary when I was 13 - trust me when I say she is a fearsome woman and you would be scarred too!
I am gradually throwing off the shackles of my emotional baggage to venture into the wilderness of the web.
I am a woman in her 30's (and not at all unhappy about that). I love cooking, gardening, reading, music and most of all my two favourite souls - boy and dog...
Boredom and silly Christmas apparatus are a bad combination - especially when the only company in sight is a friendly kelpie. She was well rewarded with dog-treats for enduring this!
Happy Christmas!

:) The dog does not look embarrassed! I read through the recipes and it is all very tasty! I am absolutly unable to make sweets or some "kuchen". The only thing I can manage is Marzipan. Maybe because I like it really!
I have no imagination about having christmas in summer-time! It's freezing now, cold clear sunny days, freezing nights. Hopefully snow comes late next week, when I will return from a visit. I hope you will have a good time, a happy christmas.

I love marzipan too but haven't had it since I was a child. That is really good to be able to make it!
Have a happy Christmas
